SN Helper is a browser extension for ServiceNow, published by ShadowSquad (www.shadowsquad.org).
SN Helper does not collect, store off your device, transmit, sell, or share any personal or other data. It has no servers, no analytics, and no third-party services.
What the extension does with data
- Your response templates and settings (the standard replies,
field changes, New Call templates, New Call path and instance list you create)
are stored locally in your browser using the standard
chrome.storage.localAPI. They never leave your device and are not sent to ShadowSquad or anyone else. - ServiceNow form data (field labels and values on the ticket you have open) is read only in the page, only while you use a feature, to insert variables such as the caller's name and to stage the values you asked the extension to apply. This data is used momentarily on your own machine and is not collected, logged, or transmitted anywhere.
- The extension only stages values on the ServiceNow form. It never submits, saves, or sends tickets, emails, or messages on your behalf — you always perform the final Update/Post in ServiceNow yourself.
Data sharing
None. No data is transmitted to the developer or to any third party.
Permissions
storage— to save your templates and settings locally.- Access to
*.service-now.com— so the toolbar and editor can run inside ServiceNow ticket pages. No other websites are accessed.
Backup / export
If you use Export, the extension produces a JSON file or clipboard text that you control and choose where to send. The extension itself does not upload it anywhere.
Changes
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change and the new version will be posted at this URL.
